Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups almond milk (or regular milk)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon dark chocolate shavings (70% cacao or higher)
- 1/4 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional, for extra nutrients)
Instructions:
- Cook the Oatmeal:
- In a pot, bring almond milk to a simmer.
- Add oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt. Stir well.
- Cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until creamy.
- Sweeten & Enhance:
- Remove from heat and stir in honey.
- Top with chopped walnuts, dark chocolate shavings, and berries.
- Sprinkle chia seeds for added nutrition (optional).
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Let the chocolate melt slightly before stirring for a decadent touch.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of extra honey if desired.
